How these โfontsโ work
The game canโt load new fonts, but it can show any character your device knows. Unicode, the list of every character computers use, includes whole alphabets that look like styled letters: ๐ผ๐ฌ๐ป๐ฒ๐น๐ฝ and ๐ซ๐ธ๐ต๐ญ ๐ผ๐ฌ๐ป๐ฒ๐น๐ฝ from maths, โโคโโโโ letters from numbered lists, ๊ฑแดแดสส แดแดแด๊ฑ from phonetics. The tool swaps each letter of your petโs name for its look-alike. When you paste the result, the game treats it as ordinary text, so the look comes with it.

Getting the name into the game
- Type the name in the box at the top. Short names look best.
- Tap the style you like. Itโs copied straight away.
- In Adopt Me, open the petโs naming box and paste. On a phone, press and hold in the box and tap Paste; on a computer, press Ctrl + V.
- Check how it looks. If you see boxes or hashtags, go back and try another style.
The tool remembers the last thing you typed on this device, so you can come back and try styles one by one.
Keep it friendly
Fancy letters change how a name looks, not what it says. Robloxโs text filter still reads the words, and names that break the rules can be filtered or reset. Nothing on this page is a trick to get around that, and you shouldnโt trust any site that says it is. The best Adopt Me names are short, cute and easy to read: a style should make a name prettier, not harder to read.

How do I use fonts in Adopt Me?
Roblox has no font setting, so you canโt change the gameโs font. What you can do is paste in special Unicode letters that look like a different font. Type the name above, tap the style you like to copy it, then paste it into the name box in the game.
Why do some letters show as boxes or hashtags?
Boxes mean the font Roblox uses on your device has no drawing for that character, so it shows a placeholder. Hashtags (####) mean Robloxโs text filter blocked the text. Unusual characters get filtered more often than plain letters, so if a name keeps turning into hashtags, try small caps or a plainer style.
Do styled letters use up more of the name limit?
Usually no more than normal letters, one character per letter, but the decorated styles add symbols around the name, which do count. Some fancy letters are also stored as two units inside the game, which can make a limit fill up sooner than you expect. Keep names short.
Will these fonts work in other Roblox games and in chat?
The same rules apply across Roblox: if a character shows in Adopt Me it will usually show elsewhere, and chat filters are often stricter than name fields. Outside Roblox, the styles work on Discord, TikTok, Instagram and most apps.
Will Roblox reset a name that uses these styles?
